Pipeline Glossary

Gem Cell Buckets

2D Two Damage Stats
The gem rolled both damage-type stats (Add Dmg & Boss Dmg). Best outcome.
Op Optimal Single Damage Stat
Rolled one damage stat — the better of the two possible damage stats for this gem.
Sub Sub-Optimal Single Damage Stat
Rolled one damage stat — the weaker of the two. Still potentially worth cutting.
No No Damage Stats
Rolled zero damage stats. Usually not worth cutting unless EV is very high.

Colors & Icons

Green (≥20k EV)
Worth cutting and resetting if the result is below your baseline. Costs 20k gold & one retry, same bucket.
Yellow / Dim
Worth cutting, but not worth resetting. Accept the result.
Red (≤0 EV)
Do not cut. The expected value is at or below zero — you'd lose gold on average.
Purple
Fuse this gem before cutting it. The fusion path is more efficient than cutting directly.
Reset
If the cut result is below your baseline, spend 20k gold to re-roll once (same bucket). Only shown on Green cells.

Boxes
Which astrogem boxes to buy each week if they are positive expected value.
Box EV
Expected gold value of one random box gem at your current baseline.
Direct / wk
Above-baseline gems produced per week from directly cutting gems (includes resets).
Fusion / wk
Above-baseline gems produced per week from post-cut L/R/A fusion chains.
Total / wk
Direct + Fusion. Total above-baseline gems produced each week.
Weeks to Fill
24 ÷ (Total/wk). Estimated weeks to fill all 24 gem slots. ≤8 weeks 8–26 weeks >26 weeks
Gold / wk
Total gold spent per week: boxes + cutting + resets + fusing.
Avg Score
Expected average score of each of the 24 gems when your pipeline is complete.
Total Score
24 × Avg Score − 2.4×6 − 5.14×6. Sum of all 24 gem scores minus the base WP+Order stat contributions.
CP% Gain
1.300 × (1 + TotalScore / 3096) − 1. Your estimated combat power percentage increase when the pipeline is complete.

Pre-Cut Fusion
3 UC same cost → 85% UC / 13.5% Rare / 1.5% Epic. Costs 500g, 50% Roster-Bound.
1R + 2UC optimal cost → 52% UC / 44% Rare / 4% Epic. Costs 500g, 50% Roster-Bound.
Post-Cut Fusion (500g each)
A+2L → 35L / 40R / 25A
R+2L → 73L / 25R / 2A
3L → 99L / 1R
Priority order: A+2L > R+2L > 3L. Below-baseline outputs are recycled as fodder.

Baseline (BL)

What is the baseline?
The score of your weakest equipped astrogem. A new gem must exceed this score to be a meaningful upgrade and replace it.

Score formula per stat:
WP: (4 − lvl) × 2.4
Order/Chaos: (lvl − 4) × 5.14
Add Dmg: lvl × 1.85
Boss Dmg: lvl × 2.55
ATK: lvl × 1
